The MC2.0 project was clearly visible at the latest Advanced Building Skins conference in Bern (CH) on
3-4 November 2025. In total three scientific contributions were presented, from our partners Eurac Research, Glass to Power, and Ernst Schweizer AG.
In the session of Integrated PV, Livio Vasella of Ernst Schweizer AG was presenting ‘Metal facade cladding system with semi-fabricated PV modules’. In the session on Designing and Planning PV Facades there was a presentation from Álvaro de Gruijter from EURAC Research on ‘Enhancing BIPV designs through Artificial Intelligence’. And in the same session Claudio Castellan from the company Glass to Power presented their new Heli-on product development in ‘Performance-driven BIPV design: A case study’.
Moreover, three partners of our consortium were hosting a booth to maximize interaction with potential stakeholders: Scuola universitaria professionale della Svizzera italiana (SUPSI), Glass to Power, and Ernst Schweizer. Please see our enthusiastic project member Livio at the Schweizer booth.
