In the past 25 years, many integrated photovoltaics (IPV) products have been introduced and demonstrated. Mostly BIPV products, but more recently also IIPV and VIPV products. However, large scale deployment and massive market adoption of these technologies and products have not yet taken place. The new Horizon Europe project Mass Customization 2.0 (MC2.0) addresses this challenge of huge scaling-up and capacity build-up of IPV in Europe.
On 16th and 17th January, the MC2.0 consortium Kick-Off Meeting took place in Eindhoven, the Netherlands. A total of 5 institutes and 15 companies start working together on the so-called “mass customization” concept.
